Compsoc vs Gamesoc game night – VICTORY!!!!

Just an update on our first Compsoc vs Gamesoc gaming night, the night was great fun for everyone involved. The headline game for the night was TF2 however we played many games over the evening. The first game was CoD4 and frankly. We got our asses kicked. Gamesoc had a few veteran players against us and try hard as we might. We just failed.

Second game was a game of L4D which was a mix of the two societies and was amazing fun. Lots of good competition and everyone had a laugh.

Then game the game of the night TF2! Compsoc lost the warm up rounds 3-1 to Gamesoc so it didn’t look great. Not so. We won 7-0! After starting fresh rom 0-0 we had some very quick rounds that rapidly brought us up to 3-0 very quickly and then Gamesoc brought their A game. After what some people would call flukey and frankly I would call raw unadulterated talent we managed to only just win the 4th round making us that evenings winners. The following rounds were well fought by Gamesoc but nothing could be done and we all had amazing fun!

The Game for the prize pot was Flatout 2 and there our evenings winner won by 0.01 of a second! Congrats Vincent and I hope you spent it wisely!
